About us
The architectural office of ing. arch. Tomáš Kudělka is a renowned provider of comprehensive services in the field of architectural designs and processing of authorized project documentation for buildings. We have many years of experience gained in implementing a wide range of projects, from new construction of family houses and apartments to demanding reconstructions and construction modifications of company buildings and civil engineering structures. Our portfolio also includes projects of attic conversions, extensions to apartment buildings, conversions of industrial buildings and sensitive reconstructions of listed buildings. We also design interiors, both for private residential spaces and public and commercial buildings. Thanks to an individual approach to each order and an emphasis on the quality of workmanship, we are able to offer our clients professional solutions that exactly match their needs and ideas.

how we work
We begin each project by listening carefully to your ideas and carefully analyzing the site to fully understand your needs and the specific conditions of the construction. Based on the knowledge gained, we create an original architectural design that sensitively combines aesthetics, functionality and technical feasibility with respect for applicable standards and regulations. We manage the entire process, from the initial study through complete authorized project documentation to the author's supervision of the construction, with maximum transparency, emphasis on adhering to the schedule and smooth communication with all relevant authorities. Our goal is for you to obtain not only a high-quality and timeless architectural work, but also the certainty of a smooth course of the entire construction procedure from the first consultation to successful approval.

Visualization
You can easily discuss our designs with your work team, spouse or family, thanks to the free BIMx application, which is available for mobile, tablet and PC. You can freely walk through the entire house, view individual rooms and get a much better idea of your future living space than what classic drawings offer. It is crucial for us to understand your intention, your ideas and needs in depth - that is why we welcome every comment and look forward to a joint discussion that will help us refine the design exactly to your satisfaction.

Wooden buildings
CLT panel technology uses large-format cross-laminated panels made of solid wood, which are produced by layering wooden slats always placed perpendicular to each other, creating an exceptionally strong and dimensionally stable structural element. Individual panels are precisely manufactured in factory conditions according to project documentation and delivered to the construction site as finished parts ready for immediate assembly. The assembly of the structure itself is very fast and efficient, as the pre-processed panels are only assembled on site and connected into the final structure using special steel connectors. Thanks to the high precision of production and prefabrication of individual parts, it is possible to build the rough structure of a family house literally in a few days, which significantly shortens the overall implementation time compared to classic construction technologies. The resulting structure made of CLT panels stands out not only for its excellent static properties and above-standard thermal insulation, but also for its favorable indoor microclimate, as natural wood naturally regulates air humidity and creates a healthy and comfortable living environment. with glass, metal, steel and other building materials.

The KLH construction technology, based on large-area cross-glued panels made of solid spruce wood, opens up interesting perspectives for the construction of low-energy and environmentally friendly buildings. This is not a revolutionary discovery in the field of construction - the technology is based on the proven principle of glued laminated timber applied to large-format components. However, its character differs significantly from both traditional frame construction systems and various variants of timbered wooden buildings. For this reason, we would like to introduce you to the basic principles and process of building construction using the KLH technology through a series of photographs.

detail is key
Interior details - the key to perfect architecture. Interior details, such as information systems, trash cans, notice boards or orientation elements, give the architectural work its final character and complete its overall visual and functional impression. Without these thoughtful miniature details, even the best architectural design seems unfinished, empty and unprofessional, as if it were missing the last layer that connects the grand vision with the everyday use of space. On the contrary, the architect's consistent authorial supervision over the selection and purchase of these small elements can save the overall tone of the work, because it is the consistency in the details that determines whether the result will be perceived as a well-thought-out whole or as a disparate mixture of random decisions.
